How do you price work?

Fixed-scope projects are quoted as a fixed price against a written scope, billed on milestones. Retainers and dedicated teams are a monthly fee. Managed services are priced by SLA tier. We do not bill for scoping conversations, and our calculator gives you an indicative range in a couple of minutes.

What if the scope changes mid-project?

It usually does, and that is fine. Small changes get absorbed. Anything that moves the milestone or the price gets written up as a change note with its own estimate, which you approve before we start it. No surprise invoices.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

Accepted Answer

You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts, domains and third-party subscriptions are set up in your name wherever possible and transferred at handover. We do not hold anything hostage and we do not build on proprietary tooling you cannot leave.

Do you work with our existing developers?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Dedicated teams are designed for exactly that: our engineers work in your repository, attend your standups and follow your review process. We can also take a single workstream and stay out of the way of the rest.

What happens after launch?

Every project includes 30 days of defect cover. After that you can move to a retainer for continued development, a managed service for uptime and support, or take it in-house with the documentation and walkthrough we provide at handover.

How do you handle security and compliance?

Security review is part of every build rather than an add-on. That means row-level security on the database, least-privilege access, dependency auditing and secrets kept out of version control. For regulated work we can run penetration testing and prepare evidence for GDPR, ISO 27001 or Australian Privacy Act reviews.
